(٣٨٦) من ولده: أبو زيد سعيد (¬٥) بن أوس بن ثابت بن بشير بن أبي زيد بن ثابت بن زيد بن قيس بن زيد بن النّعمان بن مالك الأغرّ (¬٦).البصري، النحوي. مات سنة خمس عشرة ومئتين، وله أربع وتسعون سنة. قال أبو زيد الأنصاري: هو جدي، وهو أحد الستة الذين جمعوا القرآن على عهد رسول الله ﷺ، وهلك في خلافة عمر بن الخطاب، بالمدينة، فقام على قبره (¬١)، فقال: رحمك الله أبا زيد، لقد دفن اليوم أعظم أهل الأرض أمانة.
