(٢٨٧) البراء (¬١) بن أوس بن خالد بن الجعد (¬٢). وأمه: نائلة بنت مخلد بن غزيّة بن عمرو بن عبد بن عوف بن غنم بن مالك بن النّجّار. فولد البراء: -خدمه (¬٣)، رجل. -وأم عمرو. وأمهما: أم بردة، واسمها: خولة (¬٤) بنت المنذر بن زيد بن لبيد بن خداش بن عامر بن غنم بن عديّ بن النّجّار، وهي التي أرضعت بلبنه إبراهيم بن رسول الله ﷺ في بني مازن بن النّجّار. وشهد البراء بن أوس: أحدا (¬٥).
