(١٨٥) وابنه: أفلح (¬٢) بن حميد بن نافع المدني (¬٣). يكنى: أبا عبد الرحمن. وكان يقال له: ابن صفيراء. سمع من: القاسم بن محمّد، وأبي بكر بن محمّد بن عمرو بن حزم، ومن أبيه، وغيرهم. روى له: القعنبي، وأبو نعيم، وأبو بكر الحنفي، وإسحاق بن سليمان الرازي، والثوري، والعقدي، وابن نمير، وابن وهب، ووكيع، وغيرهم. مات سنة ست وخمسين، ويقال: سنة ثمان وخمسين ومئة (¬٤)، وقال الواقدي:مات سنة خمسين ومئة، وهو ابن ثمانين سنة (¬١). روى له: الجماعة إلا الترمذي.
