(٦٢) وأخوه: أبو الطاهر عبد الملك (¬٢) بن محمّد بن أبي بكر بن محمّد (¬٣) بن عمرو بن حزم (¬٤). وأمه: أمة الوهاب بنت عبد الله بن عبد الله بن حنظلة الغسيل. فولد عبد الملك بن محمّد: -عبد الله. -وعبد الرحمن. وأمهما: هند بنت ثابت بن إسماعيل بن مجمع بن يزيد بن جارية-بالجيم (¬٥) - من بني عمرو بن عوف.-وأمة الملك بنت عبد الملك. ولم تسم أمها. وكان عبد الملك، قاضيا لهارون (¬١)، أمير المؤمنين، على عسكر المهدي (¬٢)، فمات فصلى عليه هارون، ودفن في مقبرة العباسية (¬٣). روى عن: أبيه، وعمه. روى عنه: ابن وهب، وعبد الله بن صالح بن مسلم العجلي. وكان قليل الحديث.
