    (٣١) وابنه: محمّد (¬٦) بن أبيّ بن كعب (¬٧).وأمه: أم الطفيل بنت الطفيل بن عمرو الدوسي. فولد محمّد بن أبيّ بن كعب: -القاسم. -وأبّيا. -ومعاذا. -وعمرا. -ومحمّدا. -وزيادة. وأمهم: عائشة بنت معاذ بن الحارث بن رفاعة بن الحارث بن سواد بن [مالك] (¬١) غنم بن مالك بن النّجّار. ويكنى محمّد بن أبيّ: أبا معاذ. ولد في عهد رسول الله ﷺ. روى عن: أبيه، وعن عمر بن الخطاب. روى عنه: بشر بن سعيد، والحضرمي بن لاحق. روى له: النسائي. وكان ثقة، قليل الحديث. قتل يوم الحرّة (¬٢).
