ابن خزيمة السُّلَمي هو محمد بن إسحاق بن خزيمة السُّلَمي، أبو بكر: إمام نيسابور في عصره، كان فقيهًا مجتهدًا عالمًا بالحديث، ولد وتوفي بنيسابور، ورحل إلى العراق والشام والجزيرة ومصر وتفقه على المزني وغيره، ولقبه السبكي بمامام الأئمة، تربو مصنفاته على ١٤٠ كتابًا، منها كتاب "التوحيد وإثبات صفة الرب"، ومولدهـ بسنة ٢٢٣ هـ - ووفاته بسنة ٣١١ هـ، وقال الدارقطني: كان إمامًا معدوم النظير (¬٢).
