[١٥٦٤] عبد الله بن المبارك مولى بنى حنظلة من أهل مرو أبو عبد الرحمن كان مولده سنة ثماني عشرة ومائة وكان أحد الائمة فقها وورعا وعلما وفضلا وشجاعة ونجدة ممن رحل وجمع وصنف وحدث وحفظ وذاكر ولزم الورع الخفى والصلابة في الدين والعبادة الدائمة مع حسن العشرة واستعمال الادب إلى أن مات منصرفا من طرسوس في شهر رمضان سنة إحدى وثمانين ومائة وقبره بهيت مدينة على الفرات مشهور يزار
