[١٢١٠] أبو عمرو بن العلاء اسمه زبان بن العلاء بن عمار بن العريان بن عبد الله بن الحصين بن الحارث بن جلهمة بن حجر بن خزاعي بن مازن وهم اخوة أربعة أبو عمرو وأبو سفيان ومعاذ وعمر فأكبرهم سنا أبو عمرو ثم أبو سفيان ثم معاذ ثم عمر وكان أبو عمرو من أهل الفضل ممن عنى بالادب والقراءة حتى صار إماما يرجع إليه فيها ويقتدى باختياره منها توفى سنة ست وأربعين ومائة بالبصرة
