[٤٢٥] زيد بن على بن الحسين بن على بن أبى طالب أخو محمد وحسين أبناء على بن الحسين أبو محمد كانت الشيعة تنتحله وكان من أفاضل أهل البيت وعبادهم قتل بالكوفة سنة ثنتين وعشرين ومائة وصلب على خشبة فكان العباد يأوون إلى خشبته بالليليتعبدون عندها وبقى ذلك الرسم عندهم بعد أن حدر عنها حتى قل من قصدها لحاجة فدعا الله عند موضع الخشبة الا استجيب له
