    [١٠٥] المقداد بن عمرو بن ثعلبة الكندي البهراني كنيته أبو معبد وهو الذي يقال له المقداد بن أسود كان في حجر الاسود بن عبد يغوث فنسب إليه وكان عمرو أبو المقداد حالف كندة فلذلك قيل المقداد بن عمرو الكندي مات بالجرف سنة وثلاثين فحمل على أعناق الرجال إلى المدينة وصلى عليه عثمان بن عفان وكان له يوم مات نحو من سبعين سنة
