[٧] الحسين بن على بن أبى طالب بن فاطمة الزهراء كنيته أبو عبد الله كان بينه وبين الحسن طهر واحد ثم حملت فاطمة به قتل يوم عاشوراء بكربلاء يوم السبت سنة إحدى وستين وهو عطشان في امارة يزيد بن معاوية وحمل رأسه إلى الشام واختلف في موضع رأسه فمنهم من زعم أن رأسه في البرج الثالث من السور على باب الفراديس بدمشق ومنهم من زعم أن رأسه على رأس عمود في مسجد جامع دمشق عن يمين القبلة بجنب القبة الخضراء وقد رأيت ذلك العمود ومنهم من زعم ان رأسه في قبر معاوية وذاك ان يزيد بن معاوية دفن رأسه في قبر أبيه وقال احصنه بعد الممات به فأما جثته فبكربلاء لا شك فيه
