    وفي «كتاب التوبة» قال مسلم: حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى وجعفر بن حميد كلاهما عن عبيد الله بن إياد، عن إيادٍ، عن البراء بن عازبٍ قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: «كيف تقولون بفرح رجلٍ انفلتت منه راحلته تجر زمامها بأرضٍ قفرٍ». هكذا خرج مسلم هذا الحديث عن يحيى بن يحيى وجعفر بن حميد في رواية ابن ماهان والكسائي. وجعفرٌ هذا هو: شيخ لمسلم، لم يرو عنه إلا هذا الحديث، وهو كوفي يعرف بـ «زنبقة»، حدث عنه بقي بن مخلد من أهل بلدنا. وخرجه أبو مسعود عن جعفر بن حميد، وهو الصواب. وروي عن أبي أحمد الجلودي: حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى وعبد بن حميد، مكان جعفر بن حميد، وهو وهم/
