وأخرج مسلم في «باب تسمية المولود» حديث أنس بن مالك قال: ذهبت بعبد الله بن أبي طلحة إلى رسول الله ﷺ، الحديث. ثم قال: نا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة، نا يزيد بن هرون، قال نا ابن عون، عن ابن سيرين، عن أنس بن مالك، قال: كان ابنٌ لأبي طلحة يشتكي، الحديث بطوله. هكذا في الإسناد: ابن سيرين -غير مسمى-.وخرجه البخاري عن مطر بن الفضل، عن يزيد بن هارون، عن ابن عون، عن أنس بن سيرين، عن أنس بن مالك، بهذا، فسماه.
