    وفي «الأطعمة» [أيضاً] قال مسلم: حدثنا حسن الحلواني، قال نا وهب بن جرير، نا أبي، قال: سمعت جرير بن زيد يحدث عن عمرو بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة، عن أنس بن مالك، قال: رأى أبو طلحة رسول الله ﷺ مضطجعاً في المسجد يتقلب ظهراً لبطن، الحديث. في نسخة أبي العلاء بن ماهان: سمعت جرير بن يزيد -على مثال: يعيش- بزيادة ياء، وهو وهم، وإنما هو: جرير بن زيد، وهو عم جرير بن حازم.ذكره البخاري وابن أبي حاتم الرازي، قالا: روى عن عامر ابن سعد وتبيع، روى عنه جرير ويزيد ابنا حازم.
