    ومن «كتاب الجنائز» قال مسلم: حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة قال: نا وكيع، عن سعيد ابن عبيد الطائي ومحمد بن قيس، عن علي بن ربيعة قال: أول من نيح عليه بالكوفة قرظة بن كعب. في إسناد هذا الحديث في نسخة ابن الحذاء: «سعد بن عبيد» بسكون العين وحذف الياء. والصواب: «سعيد» بكسر العين وزيادة ياء. وسعيد بن عبيد هذا هو أخو عقبة بن عبيد، يكنى أبا الهذيل، ويكنى عقبة أبا الرحال براءٍ مهملةٍ وحاءٍ مهملة مشددة.
