وفي باب: «المرأة ترى في المنام ما يرى الرجل» قال مسلم: حدثنا عباس بن الوليد، قال: نا يزيد بن زريع، نا سعيد، عن قتادة أن أنس بن مالك حدثهم أن أم سليم حدثت أنها سألت نبي الله ﷺ عن المرأة ترى في منامها ما يرى الرجل، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: «إذا رأت ذلك فلتغتسل». فقالت أم سليم -واستحيت من ذلك-: وهل يكون هذا؟ هكذا في أكثر النسخ عن الجلودي والكسائي: «فقالت أم سليم»، وكذلك عند ابن ماهان، إلا أنه غير في بعض النسخ: «فقالت أم سلمة»، جعل مكان «أم سليم» «أم سلمة»، والمحفوظ من طرقٍ شتى: «فقالت أم سلمة».
