وفيه أيضاً في «باب الإسراء» قال مسلم: حدثنا ابن مثنى، قال: نا ابن أبي عدي عن [سعيد عن] قتادة عن أنس بن مالك (لعله قال) عن مالك بن صعصعة -رجل من قومه- قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: «بينا أنا عند البيت .. .. »، وذكر حديث الإسراء بطوله. هكذا في رواية أبي العلاء بن ماهان وأبي العباس الرازي عن أبي أحمد، وعند غيره عن أبي أحمد: «قتادة عن أنس بن مالك عن مالك ابن صعصعة»، ولم يقل «لعله». والحديث محفوظ عن أنس بن مالك عن مالك بن صعصعة دون شك. قال أبو الحسن: لم يروه عن أنس بن مالك عن مالك بن صعصعة غير قتادة.
