    وفي «باب المتأولين» قال البخاري: حدثنا موسى بن إسماعيل، قال نا أبو عوانة عن حصين، عن فلانٍ، قال: تنازع أبو عبد الرحمن وحبان بن عطية .. .. الحديث. قال أبو علي: الرجل الذي روى عنه حصين وكنى عنه بفلان هو: سعد بن عبيدة السلمي، وهو: ختن أبي عبد الرحمن السلمي، يكنى أبا حمزة. هكذا سمي بهذا الإسناد في غير موضعٍ من «الجامع» من حديث علي بن أبي طالب.
