    وفي «باب يقل الرجال ويكثر النساء» قال البخاري: حدثنا حفص بن عمر الحوضي، قال نا هشام، عن قتادة، عن أنس، قال: لأحدثنكم حديثاً سمعته من رسول الله ﷺ، وذكر بقية الحديث. في نسخة أبي محمد الأصيلي، عن أبي أحمد: نا حفص بن عمر، نا همام، عن قتادة، عن أنس، وكتب أبو محمد في حاشية كتابه: في كتب بعض أصحابنا، عن أبي زيد: هشام، وما أراه إلا صحيحاً.قال أبو علي: وهكذا رواه أبو علي بن السكن، وأبو ذر، عن مشايخه الثلاثة، وكذلك في نسخةٍ عن النسفي، وهو المحفوظ. وقد خرجه البخاري في (كتاب الأشربة) عن: مسلم بن إبراهيم، عن هشام، عن قتادة، عن أنس. وكذلك خرجه أبو مسعود الدمشقي في مسند هشام الدستوائي.
