ومنهم: عمر بن حسين وعمر بن أبي حسين فالأول: عمر بن حسين مولى عائشة بنت قدامة بن مظعون قاضي المدينة، روى عنه مالك بن أنس في «الموطأ»، وهو من فضلاء أهل المدينة ونبلائهم. روى له مسلم عن عبد العزيز بن أبي سلمة عنه عن عبد الله بن أبي سلمة عن عبد الله بن عبد الله بن عمر عن أبيه حديثا واحداً في الحج في التكبير من منىً إلى عرفة. والثاني: هو عمر بن سعيد بن أبي حسين النوفلي القرشي المكي، وقد ينسب إلى جده فيقال: عمر بن أبي حسين، رويا له عن عبد الله بن أبي مليكة، روى عنه ابن المبارك ويحيى القطان وروحٌ وأبو عاصم.
