    ورقة وودفة فبالراء والقاف محركتين، هو: ورقة بن نوفل بن أسد، ابن عم خديجة زوج النبي ﷺ، يأتي ذكره في الحديث. و (ودفة) بالدال المهملة والفاء، يأتي في نسب الأنصار في بني بياضة. وفي البدريين من الأنصار من اسمه: ودفة. والودفة: الروضة الناعمة كأنها من نضرتها تقطر، يقال: ودف يدف إذا قطر -بالدال غير معجمةٍ-، ويقال للذكر: الأداف، قالهلنا ابن سراج. عقبة بن (وساج) بالسين المهملة مشددة وبالجيم، عن أنس بن مالك، روى عنه إبراهيم بن أبي عبلة، وأبو عبيد مولى سليمان بن عبد الملك في الهجرة من «الجامع». (وبرة) بتحريك الباء مع الراء، على مثال: شجرة، وهو: وبرة بن عبد الرحمن، أبو خزيمة المسلي، وقد تقدم التعريف به.
