    وفيه من المنسوب الفروي والفوزي فـ (الفروي) بتقديم الراء على الواو، هو: أبو علقمة الفروي، عبد الله بن محمد بن عبد الله بن أبي فروة، مولى عثمان بن عفان، عن صفوان بن سليم ويزيد بن خصيفة، روى عنه أحمد بن عبدة الضبي وغيره، تفرد به مسلم. وابن عمه إسحاق بن محمد بن إسماعيل بن عبد الله بن أبي فروة أبو يعقوب الفروي، عن مالك بن أنس ومحمد بن جعفر، روى عنه البخاري، وروى عن محمد بن عبد الله عنه، ويقال: إنه الذهلي. و (الفوزي) بتقديم الواو على الزاي، هو: خطاب بن عثمان الفوزي أبو عمروٍ الشامي ثم الحمصي، عن محمد بن حمير، روى عنه البخاري في الذبائح.
