    العرني والعدني فـ (العرني) بضم العين مع الراء المهملة؛ من ينسب إلى عرينة بن[مالك -وهو قسر- بن] نذير بن عبقر -وهو بيجلة- بن أنمار، منهم: الحسن العرني البجلي الكوفي، عن عمرو بن حريث، حدث عنه الحكم بن عتيبة. و (العدني) بفتح العين المهملة والدال؛ من ينسب إلى عدنٍ مدينةٍ باليمن، منهم: محمد بن أبي عمر العدني، من شيوخ مسلم، تفرد به.
