    ومن حرف الطاء والظاء (طرخان) بكسر الطاء المهملة ويقال: بضمها، وخاء معجمة؛ هو: والد سليمان بن طرخان التيمي، سمع أنس بن مالك، أحد الفضلاء الأثبات. رويا له كثيراً، قال لنا أبو الوليد: الطرخان بلغة خراسان: الرجل الشريف، وقاله لنا بالضم. (أبو ظفر) بفتح الظاء المعجمة وفاءٍ متحركة؛ هو: عبد السلام بن مطهر الأزدي البصري، يكنى أبا ظفر من شيوخ البخاري، تفرد به. وبنو ظفر بطن من الأنصار، واسم ظفر: كعب بن الخزرج بن عمرو بن مالك بن الأوس، منهم: قتادة بن النعمان الظفري. وفي بني سليم: بنو ظفر بن الحارث بن بهثة بن سليم.
