    ومن النسب في حرف الراء الرماني والزماني فـ (الرماني) بالراء المهملة، هو: أبو هاشم الرماني، واسمه: يحيى بن دينار، كان ينزل قصر الرمان بواسطٍ، وذكر الدولابي في «حديث شعبة»: حدثنا أبو إسحاق الجوزجاني قال: نا سهل بن حماد قال: نا شعبة قال نا أبو هاشم صاحب الرمان عن أبي مجلز في حديث ذكره. سمع أبا مجلزٍ، حدث عنه الثوري وهشيم، رويا له. و (الزماني) بالزاي المعجمة المكسورة من ينسب إلى زمان بن مالك ابن صعب بن علي بن بكر بن وائل، منهم: عبد الله بن معبد الزماني، روى عن أبي قتادة الأنصاري، حدث عنه غيلان بن جرير، تفرد به مسلم.
