٣٥٦ - والإمام أبو المفاخر محمد بن أبي علي بن أبي نصر النوقانيّ:فقيه فاضل، تفقه بنيسابور على الإمام أبي سعد محمد بن يحيى النيسابوري وسمع منه وحدث عنه ببغداد، ودرس بالمدرسة النظامية، وكان بارعا في الفقه، حسن الكلام. مولده بنوقان طوس سنة "ست عشرة وخمسمائة". وتوفي في ثالث صفر -وقيل- يوم الأحد حادي عشره سنة "اثنتين وتسعين وخمسمائة" ودفن في رابعه بباب المشهد بالكوفة. وقد حكي ضم النون في "نوقان".
