    ٣٠٩ - أبو اليقظان مغفل بن علي بن أبي الحسن الواسطي الواعظ: قدم دمشق وحدث بها، سمع منه شيخنا الخطيب أبو حفص عمر بن يوسف بن يحيى المقدسي خطيب "بيت الآبار" حكاية عن والده، رواها لنا عنه، ولم أعلم من أمره شيئا. وفاته هذه الترجمة وهي "المُفَضِّض" و"المُقَصِّص" فأما الأول فهو بالفاء المعجمة بواحدة وضادين معجمتين، الأولى مشددة مكسورة وهو:
