    ٢٢١ - وولده أبي جعفر يحيى [بن خالد] المنعوت بالشهاب: كان من الرؤساء المشهورين، والكبراء المعروفين بمدينة حلب، تقدم عند ملكها الظاهر، وكان له منه الحظ الوافر. سمع من شيخنا أبي حفص بن طبرزد عند قدومه حلب وحدث عنه. رأيته بدمشق وسمعت منه وسألته عن مولده فذكر أنه في سلخ شهر رمضان سنة "سبع وثمانين وخمسمائة" بحلب.
