    ١٨٢، ١٨٣ - وولداه أبو عبد الله محمد وأبو العباس أحمد سمعا معه من أبي يعقوب بن الطفيل ورويا عنه بالقاهرة. سمعت منهما وسألتهما عنمولدهما، فذكر لي محمد أنه في ثالث ذي القعدة سنة "ثلاث وثمانين وخمسمائة" بالقاهرة وذكر أخوه أنه في سنة "ست وثمانين وخمسمائة" -لا يحق الشهر-. ودخلوا دمشق مرارا ورأيت والدهما ولم يتفق لي السماع منه.
