    ١٥٩ - الفقيه الحافظ الرحال أبو المظفر منصور بن سليم بن منصور بن فتوح الهمذاني الإسكندراني الشافعي: سمع من جماعة ببلده ورحل إلى ديار مصر فسمع بها ثم سافر إلى الشام فسمع به من جماعة. ورأيته بدمشق وسمع بقراءتي ورحل إلى العراق فسمع في طريقه بحلب والموصل ودخل بغداد فأقام بها مدة، يسمع الحديث ويشتغل بالفقه ثم عاد إلى بلده يفيد الناس وولي تدريس المدرسة الحافظية السلفية والحسبة وخرج وصنف، وجمع وألف، وقفت له على تخاريج مفيدة، وفوائد عديدة.
