١٤٦، ١٤٧ - وولديه الشريفين أبي الحسن علي وأبي المحاسن عبد الرحمن: سمعنا مع والدهما من الشريف الافتخار أبي هاشم المذكور، وحدثا عنه بدمشق. رأيتهما بها وسمعت منهما وسألتهما عن مولدهما فذكر لي أبو الحسن أنه ولد بحلب في ثاني عشر شعبان سنة "اثنتين وتسعين وخمسمائة". وذكر أخوه أبو المحاسن أنه ولد بها أيضا في بعض شهور سنة "ست وستمائة". وذكر في باب "زِيادَة" بكسر الزاي وفتح الياء المعجمة باثنتين من تحتها جماعة، وفاته:
