١٤٤ - أبو محمد عبد المحسن بن علي بن أبي الفتوح بن إبراهيم الأنصاري المصري المعروف بابن الزهر: سمع من أبي عبد الله بن حمد الأرتاحي والفقيه أبي الفضل محمد بن يوسف بن علي الغرنوي، وروى عنهما، رأيته ولم يتفق لي السماع منه، لكنه أجاز لي جميع ما يجوز له روايته، وسئل عن مولده فقال: في بعض شهور سنة "إحدى وثمانين وخمسمائة" بمصر. وتوفي بها ليلة الأحد -ودفن من يومها بعد الظهر- العشرين من شهر رجب سنة "خمس وستين وستمائة" بالقرافة. وذكر في باب "زهرة" بضم الزاي وإسكان الهاء بعدها راء مفتوحة امرأتين وأغفل ذكر:
