٩٣ - وأبي محمد خيلجان بن عبد الوهاب بن محمود بن مفرج بن خلف بن علي العمري الخطابي المقرئ الضرير من ولد سالم بن عبد الله بن عمر بن الخطاب. سمع من أبي القاسم البوصيري وأبي عبد الله بن حمد الأرتاحي بمصر وسمع بالإسكندرية من أبي عبد الله بن الحضرمي ووهيب العجان، وحدث بمصر، وكان شافعي المذهب، متقللا من الدنيا، كريم النفس، له معرفة حسنة بتعبير الرؤيا. رأيته وسمعت منه. وتوفي سلخ ربيع الآخر سنة "ثمان وأربعين وستمائة" ودفن بسفح المقطم. وفاته في هذه الترجمة "الحطابي" بالحاء المهملة بعدها طاء مهملة مفتوحة مشددة وباء موحدة وهو:
