٩٢ - الشيخ الفاضل أبي عبد الله أحمد بن علي بن مسعود بن عبد الله بن الحسنبن عطاف البغدادي الدارقزي الخطابي المقرئ الوارق المعروف بابن السقاء: قرأ القرآن الكريم بالروايات على جماعة، وقرأ الأدب على أبي محمد بن الخشاب وغيره، وسمع الحديث من أبي الوقت السجزي وأبي القاسم سعيد بن أحمد بنالبناء وأبي الفتح بن البطي وغيرهم وحدث. مولده في ليلة العشرين من رجب سنة أربع وأربعين وخمسمائة". وتوفي في خامس رجب سنة "ثلاث عشرة وستمائة" ببغداد، ودفن بباب حرب. والخطابي: نسبته إلى قرية تعرف بالخطابية قريبة من محلته، كان خطيبا بها. ذكر ذلك الحافظ أبو محمد عبد العظيم في وفياته.
