٨٢ - وأبي الحسن علي بن عبد الجبار بن محمد بن عبد الواحد بن أبي الحسن بن أبي الجيش الأديب النيلي يعرف بابن خطيب النيل: قدم دمشق ومدح كبراءها وسمعت منه شيئا من نظمه، وكان له نظم جيد. وذكر في باب "خشيش" و"جشنس" جماعة، الأول بالخاء المعجمة المضمومة وشين معجمة مفتوحة بعدها وياء ساكنة منقوطة باثنتين من تحتها وشين معجمة آخر الحروف، والثاني بالجيم المكسورة بعدها شين معجمة ساكنة ونون مسكورة وآخره سين مهملة وأغفل في باب "جشنس" ذكر:
