    ٧٠٣٦- فروة بن قيس الكندي «٦» : أدرك النبي ﵌، ولم يره. أخرج ابن مندة، من طريق عدي بن عدي الكندي، عن جده فروة بن قيس، قال:زوجت غلاما لي جارية في الجاهلية، فولدت غلاما، فخاصمه إلى عمر، فقال أبو الغلام: تزوجت أمه رشدة حتى إذا بلغ ادّعى إلى سيدي، فقال عمر: الولد للفراش. قال أبو نعيم: ليس في محاكمته إلى عمر ما يوجب له صحبة. قلت: بل تحقق إدراكه، فيبقى في الاحتمال.
