٦١٤٦ اشتهر بها الشيخ الفاضل أبو محمد بن عبدك. وقيل: ابن عدي البصري.من أصحاب الكرخي. شرح "الجامعين"، وله كتاب "الاقتداء بعلي وعبد الله". وخرج إلى "البصرة"، ودرس بها. ومات سنة سبع وأربعين وثلاثمائة. كذا ذكره أبو إسحاق في "الطبقات"، وكان متروحا إلى أبي عمرو الطبري. وقال الصيمري: ومن طبقة أبي بكر الدامغاني تلميذ الطحاوي أبو محمد بن عبدك، وكان منقطعاْ إلى أبي عمرو الطبري، واستفاد منه الطلبة.
