٥٦٣١ - الشيخ الإمام العالم الكبير العلامة نجم الدين السمرقندي * * ذكره العلامة عبد الحي الحسني في "نزهة الخواطر"، وقال: هو أحد كبار الأساتذة. لم يكن له نظير في كثرة الدرس والإفادة في عصره.كان يدرّس في قصر بـ "الأبندسيري" بدار الملك "دهلي" في عهد فيروز شاه السلطان، وكان ذلك القصر من أبنية السلطان المذكور، وكان جميل الصنعة، متقن البناء. وقال البرني في "تاريخه": إن السمرقندي كان يدرّس في الفقه والأصول وغيرهما من العلوم النافعة، والسلطان كان يكرمه، ويجزل له الصلاة والجوائز. انتهى. * * *
