    ٥٥٢٦ - الشيخ الفاضل العلامة منة الله الرحماني بن محمد علي المونكيري عالم "الهند" الكبير * وهو نجل العلامة محمد علي المونكيري، مؤسّس ندوة العلماء. شغل مناصب عديدة، وظلّ رئيسا لكثير من المؤسّسات الإسلامية، مثل رياسة الإمارة الشرعية في ولايتي "بهار" و"أريسه"، كما رأس هيئة الأحوال الشخصيّة للمسلمين في "الهند" إلى مدّة. ثم أتير أمينا عاما لها. وكان عضوا للمجلس التنفيذي لندوة العلماء، ومجلس الشورى لدار العلوم "ديوبند" إلى آخر أيام حياته. ونشاطه العلمي والديني في تأسيس المحاكم الشرعية الإسلامية ودور القضاء معروف. توفي ليلة الأربعاء ٣ رمضان سنة ١٤١١ هـ. * * *
