    ٥٣١٦ - الشيخ الفاضل مولانا مشرف علي بن العلامة مير أحمد التهانوي * قرأ من البداية إلى النهاية في الجامعة الأشرفية لاهور. من شيوخه فيها: العلامة رسول خان الهزاروي، ومولانا محمد حسن الأمرِتْسَري، ومولانا إدريس الكاندهلوي، والمفتي جميل أحمد التهانوي، وغيرهم، من أفاحل العلماء. بعد إتمام الدراسة التحق بها، وعُدَّ من المحدّثين الكبار، تزوج ابنة العلامة إدريس الكاندهلوي، وبايع في الطريقة على يد الدكتور عبد الحي الكراتشوي، رحمه الله تعالى، بعد مدة أجازه شيخه في الطريقة والسلوك، وهو مدير لدار العلوم الإسلامية، علامة إقبال تاون، وشيخ الحديث لها. * * *
