    ٥١٢٥ - الشيخ الفاضل المفتي محمد علي الخانيوالي من أهل "كبير والا" من مضافات "خانِيوَال" من أرض "باكستان". قرأ مبادئ العلم في قريته، ثم سافر إلى دار العلوم ديوبند، والتحق بها، وقرأ فيه كتب الصحاح الستة، وغيرها، من الكتب الحديثية. من شيوخه فيها: شيخ الإسلام السيّد حسين أحمد المدني، وشيخ الأدب والفقه العلامة إعزاز على الأمروهوي، والعلامة إبراهيم البلياوي، واستفاد من العلامة أنور شاه الكشميري فوائد كثيرة. بايع في الطريقة والسلوك على يد شيخ الإسلام المدني، رحمه الله تعالى. بعد إتمام الدراسة التحق بالمدرسة المحمدية بـ "نرهال" تحت إشراف العلامة عبد الخالق الشيركوتي. * * *
