    ٥٠٨٧ - الشيخ الفاضل محمد صالح البنغالي* ذكره العلامة عبد الحي الحسني في "نزهة الخواطر"، وقال: هو أحد العُلماء المبرزين في الفقه والأصول والحكمة والكلام وسائر الفنون العقلية. قرأ الكتب الدرسيّة على القاضي شهاب الدين العمري الكوباموي. ثم لازم السيّد محمد زاهد بن محمد أسلم الحسيني الهروى. وأخذ عنه، ثم تصدّى للدرس والإفادة. أخذ عنه القاضي قطب الدين ابن شهاب الدين المذكور، وأسند عنه مصنّفات السيّد الزاهد. وكان يفتخر ولده وهَّاج الدين بن قطب الدين بذلك، كما في "رسالة قطبية". * * *
