٤٦٠٢ - الشيخ الفاضل محمد بن عرفان الرامبوري القاضى محمد خان * ذكره العلامة عبد الحى الحسني في "نزهة الخواطر"، وقال: كان من الفقهاء الحنفية. ولد، ونشأ ببلدة "رامبور". وقرأ العلم على والده، وعلى المفتي شرف الدين، وعلى ملّا حسن بن غلام مصطفى اللكنوي، والعلامة عبد العلي ابن نظام الدين، ودرّس ببلدته زمانا. ثم سافر إلى "طوك"، فقرأ عليه وزير الدولة أمير تلك الناحية، وولّاه القضاء، فسكن ببلدة "طوك"، ومات بها، وكان غير متعصّب في المسائل الخلافية، خلافا لأخيه القاضي خليل الرحمن، أخبرني بذلك الشيخ محمود حسن الطوكي. * * *
