    ٤٤٦٨ - الشيخ الفاضل محمد بن شعبان الطرابلسي *ذكره المحبى الحنفي في كتابه "خلاصة الأثر"، وقال: من أهل "طرابلس المغرب"، ذكره ابن نوعي، ووصفه بالفصل الباهر، وقال: قدم "قسطنطينية" في سنة ست عشرة وألف، وتناظر مع علمائها، فظهرت مزيته، وروعي حقه، وأقبل عليه شيخ الإسلام صنع الله بن جعفر، وأعطاه قضَاء بلده لاعتبار المولوية، وأضاف إلى القضاء الفتوى والتدريس، فتوجّه إلى وطنه. وله تآليف باهرة، منها: "شرح مجمع البحرين"، سماه "تشنيف المسمع في شرح المجمع"، وجمع مناقب الشيخ أبي الغيث القشاش المقدم ذكره، وله غير ذلك من الآثار ما ليس له ضاية، وفتاويه كلها مسلّمة، وكانت وفاته في سنة عشرين وألف. * * *
