٤٤١٧ - الشيخ الفاضل محمد بن حسين العطَّار، الحلبي الأصل، الدمشقي، الشهير بالعطار، وبالمدرس* رياضي، فلكي. ولد بـ"دمشق" سنة ١١٧٧ هـ، ورحل إلى "الأزهر". وأخذ عن علماء "مصر"، وتوفي بـ"دمشق". من آثاره: "رسالة في القبان"، و"رسالة في المياه الجارية في مدينة دمشق"، و"رسالة في الرمي بالقنبرة والطوب"، و"شرح منظومة حسن العطّار المصري" في التشريح، ورسائل اخرى في الفلك والنجوم. توفي سنة ١٢٤٣ هـ. * * *
