٤٢٠١ - الشيخ الفاضل محمد بن أحمد بن سعيد بن مسعود، المكي، الشهير بابن عقيلة، والملقب بالظاهر (جمال الدين، أبو عبد الله) * *محدث، مؤرخ، مشارك في بعض العلوم. ولد بـ "مكة"، ونشأ، وتوفي بها سنة ١١٥٠ هـ. من تصانيفه: "لسان الزمان في أخبار سيد العربان"، و"أخبار أمته من الإنس والجان"، وهو تاريخ مرتب على السنين، وصل فيه إلى سنة ١١٢٣ هـ، و"عنوان السعادة فيما خص به نبينا قبل الولادة"، و"الفوائد الجليلة في مسلسلاته"، و"هدية الخلاق إلى الصوفية في سائر الآفاق"، و"الإحسان في علوم القرآن". * * *
