٣٩٧١ - الشيخ الفاضل أبو القاسم بن المفتي داود، التتوي، السندي، أحد العلماء المبرّزين في الفقه والأصول والعربية * *ذكره صاحب "نزهة الخواطر"، وقال: كان يدرّس، ويفيد. أخذ عنه خلق كثير، وجعله عالمكير بن شاهجهان الدهلوي سلطان "الهند" وكيلا شرعيا له في دار القضاء. مات سنة ثلاث عشرة ومائة وألف، فأرّخ لموته بعض أصحابه من قوله: "ذهب العلم من السند"، كما في "تحفة الكرام". * * *
