    ٣٨٩٨ - الشيخ الفاضل الفضل بن عباس بن يحيى بن الحسين الصاغاني، أبو العبّاس * ذكره الإمام الحافظ عبد القادر القرشي في "الجواهر"، وقال: قال السمعاني: له عدة تصانيف في كلّ فن من الحديث وغيره، أحسن فيها.سمع الحديث من السيّد أبي الحسن محمد بن الحسين العلوي، ومحمد ابن محمد بن عبدوس الحيري (¬١)، وغيرهما. سمع منه الخطيب بـ "بغداد" بعد سنة عشرين وأربعمائة. [وسمع بـ "نيسابور"، وحدّث بـ "خراسان"، و "بغداد"] (¬٢). * * *
