    ٣٨٣٢ - الشيخ الفاضل العلامة غلام سبحان البِهَاري، أحد العلماء المشهورين *ذكره العلامة عبد الحي الحسني في "نزهة الخواطر"، وقال ولد، ونشأ بأرض "بهار" (¬١). وقرأ العلم على مولانا معظم الدين، وعلى غيره من العلماء، ثم ولي التدريس بالمدرسة العالية في "كلكته"، فدرَّس بها مدة. ثم ولي الإفتاء بها، ثم ولي القضاء الأكبر بـ "كلكته"، وحصلت له الوجاهة العظيمة عند الولاة والأمراء. * * *
