    ٣٧٠٧ - الشيخ الفاضل عمر بن أيوب بن عمر بن أرسلان بن جاولي ابن يلمش التركماني الدمرداشي الدمشقي، المنعوت بالسيف، المعروف بابن طُغْريل السيَّاف * كره الحافظ عبد القادر القرشي في "الجواهر المضية"، وقال: سمع الكثير، وطلب بنفسه، وقرأ، كتب، وحصَّل، وخرَّج، وجمع. وكان صالحا، متدينا (¬١)، حسن الطريقة، وحدّث. هكذا ذكره الشريف في وفياته. وقال: كان ثقة، مفيدا، وخرَّج "معجَما" لشيوخه، الذين سمع منهم، وذكرني (¬٢) فيهم.ومولده تخمينا (¬١) سنة خمس وعشرين وستمائة. ومات بـ "مصر" سنة سبعين وستمائة (¬٢)، رحمه الله تعالى. * * *
